Laybrick is a sandstone like and rough filament, very well suited for professional designs and models in the industry and also in architecture. It comes direct from the inventor Kai Parthy Laybrick who especiall designed this filament for 3D printers, it is made of co-polyester filled with minerals.
Diameter: 3 mm. The ideal printing temperature is between 165°C and 210°C. By varying the printing temperature the surface of the printed object can be changed. Between 165°C and 190°C you will get a smooth surface, and at 210°C the surface will be rough. Laybrick has very low shrinkage rate and thus prints very good without wraping.
The printed object is sandable and paintable after the cool down (2-3 hours). The objects have a temperature resistance of up to about 70° C.
The filament is breaks easily at low temperatures. Therefore, it is recommended to slightly heat the filament before use.
